BabyOne bet on multi-channel

BabyOne launched their online shop, which was built on Salesforce Commerce Cloud, in February 2016. Many baby articles are now available online for purchasing – starting with toys, to buggies, right up to fully furnished children rooms. BabyOne's entire range of products can be bought online in Germany and Austria.

A key requirement from BabyOne for the new online store lay in the facilitation of its franchisors. As a result each of the brick and mortar stores are clearly represented on the website and are also uniquely personalised. The customer is automatically assigned to a store depending on their postcode. Customers may mark that store as preferred for future preference.

Additional requirements of the new online shop were cross-channel presence and user friendliness. The whole shop was developed using responsive web design principles (mobile first) to fit this bill. Customers can at a glance also see all the products available; on- as well as off-line. BE EXCELLENT additionally implemented a cross-channel CRM system for optimal customer care.

Customers of BabyOne who use the "BabyOne-Card" loyalty card also receive various additional benefits, such as attractive coupons and bonuses. The collected bonus points are redeemable online or in one of the many BabyOne retail stores.

A special feature is the "BabyOne-WunschBox" (BabyOne Wishbox). Clients can compile an individual list of desired items, which is parcelled in a gift box at the retail store. These are wish boxes are orderable online, collected in person (using an access code) and can be paid for in store.

BabyOne want to fulfil their customer's needs and wants by connecting the online and offline world.
