All O’Neill shop sites went live simultaneously on the new Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform in February 2014. The existing content of the brand portal has been integrated into the new online shop to enhance the unique brand and customer experience. The intuitive and targeted sales process, including the quick check out feature, allowing for efficient and fast ordering, achieves an increased conversion rate. Moreover, O ́Neill has recorded an increase in repeated buys.

Product presentation for discerning customers

Additionally, a tablet first approach and the optimized mobile version boosted overall sales numbers from mobile devices. O’Neill puts a strong focus on providing the customers with rich product information.The surf pioneer therefore adds details, e.g. product videos and icons to visualize technical functionalities, such as weight, insulating property or water resistance, to the basic product information.

OMS Light - the individual business manager

Another highlight is the implementation of the OMS Light, a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Business Manager extension developed by BE EXCELLENT, allowing for easy order management across all channels.

Relaunch increased revenues

The relaunch of the websites has been a great success for O ́Neill. Martijn van Egmond explains: „During our first 6 months we have seen double digit growth comparing to our performance last year. We are confident this will increase more with BE EXCELLENT ́s support on improving the conversion capability of our web shop.“
