In order to not stand in the way of their own growth, TJC said goodbye to its in-house developed platform and decided to switch to Salesforce Commerce Cloud’s (formerly Demandware) SaaS-solution. BE EXCELLENT integrated the existing store into the Salesforce Commerce Cloud environment in only five months, so TJC could then launch their new online shop on October 20th, 2015. Now TJC’s customers can also acquire every piece of jewellery online in the UK and Ireland with the improved experience that the Salesforce Commerce Cloud solution offers.

A particular challenge for BE EXCELLENT’s team was the synchronization of the two shopping worlds - telephone & online shopping. TJC offers its jewellery lovers the opportunity to participate in the live TV auctions online. Now online shop customers will not only be able to live stream the auctions, they can also place their bids on the luxurious products and receive them upon winning.

BE EXCELLENT developed the shop using a responsive design to improve the customer experience. As a result, the content of the shop adapts flexibly to the preferred device of the individual user – desktop, smartphone and tablet.
