In order to not stand in the way of their own growth, TJC said goodbye to its in-house developed platform and decided to switch to Salesforce Commerce Cloud’s SaaS-solution. BE EXCELLENT (part of Dept) integrated the existing store into the Salesforce Commerce Cloud environment in only five months, so TJC could then launch their new online shop on October 20th, 2015. Now TJC’s customers in the UK and Ireland can also acquire every piece of jewellery online with the improved experience offered by the Salesforce Commerce Cloud solution.

Multi-channel auctions

A particular challenge for BE EXCELLENT’s team was the synchronisation of the two shopping worlds - telephone & online shopping. TJC offers their jewellery lovers the opportunity to participate in the live TV auctions online. Now online shop customers will not only be able to live stream the auctions, they can also place their bids on the luxurious products and receive them upon winning.

Shop in responsive design

BE EXCELLENT developed the shop using a responsive design to improve customer experience. As a result, the content of the shop adapts flexibly to the preferred device of the individual user – desktop, smartphone or tablet.
