Optimizing the customer experience is a never-ending process. affilinet (part of Awin) therefore decided to integrate two additional solutions of Oracle's CX Cloud family into the existing system landscape – Oracle Integration Cloud and Oracle Sales Cloud. Using Oracle Sales Cloud, the sales team can access customer data much easier, which results in an improved opportunity management and more individual consulting. By unifying the system landscape and connecting the sales to the service cloud via integration cloud, affilinet (part of Awin) aims at making company processes more efficient and user-friendly.
The project challenges were the migration of data from the existing system into the new Sales CRM-system, as well as the development of the synchronization process between Sales- & Service Cloud. At the same time, all sales relevant data need to be made available to the service team for their follow-up process during customer after-care. It was also essential, that all these data changes are up to date and visible for each sales representative.
Furthermore, there are different sales processes between the regions. BE EXCELLENT (part of Dept) needed to ensure that all these processes were mapped in the new Sales CRM.
BE EXCELLENT met these requirements and implemented both cloud-solutions into affilinet's system landscape for DACH, Benelux, Spain and UK within only three months. The project was completed in April 2017.
