New Shop combined with an Endless Aisle Solution in-store
Stokke launched in December 2017, their new online shop, which was implemented by BE EXCELLENT (part of Dept). With the goals of optimizing the technical performance, modernizing of the shop design and increasing online sales, Stokke therefore decided to relaunch their online shop.
RELAUNCH OF THE ONLINE SHOP
They chose to stay with Salesforce Commerce Cloud as e-commerce platform. Existing features – such as the product configurator or retailer search – received a new platform upgrade. The first launch of the new shop was in the UK. Further country roll-outs went live in the United States and EMEA. In a second rollout phase the shops in the APAC countries and Russia as well as other exciting features followed.
BRAND STORE OPENING
For perfect presentation of their high-quality children's furniture and strollers, Stokke has opened its first European brand store in London on the 19th of April 2018. With their new store, Stokke produces a unique brand experience and creates the perfect symbiosis of minimalist, modern design and a natural Nordic atmosphere.
Stokke will present their entire collection of high-quality children's furniture and accessories, and provide their customers with all the information they need to make holistic purchase decisions.
ENDLESS AISLE SOLUTION IN-STORE
The strategy of making the store a digital salespoint it was decided that the new store will make shopping without a cash register available, while at the same time providing seamless cross-channel shopping experience. To ensure this, BE EXCELLENT (part of Dept) linked the physical store to the online shop by integrating the 'Endless Aisle' tablet application into the Stokke Salesforce Commerce Cloud environment.
The app extends the power of the Salesforce Commerce Cloud to the physical store. Via tablets, Stokke can offer its customers the entire range of products - online & in-store. If a customer decides for a product locally, the purchase will be processed cashless via the app using credit card and the product can either be taken directly or delivered to the customers home (or to another desired address).
By doing this, the Norwegian cult brand can offer its customers a wider range than it actually carries in physically in-store stock, transactions can be provided on the shop floor and waiting in queues is no longer necessary. Thanks to the delivery options, carrying heavy bags or even furniture is also obsolete.
