Torqeedo switches to the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform to enhance its online shop

On March 5th, 2015 Torqeedo has launched its new online shop on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform. Torqeedo’s target customers are approached through two different shop sites: Retailers purchase the innovative products in the B2B shop, while end customers buy their boat engines and supplies in a B2C shop.







Shop with international orientation

As a pioneer in electric mobility for boats, Torqeedo sells its products to retailers and customers around the world. Therefore, Torqeedo decided for a multi-national shop solution to allow their customers for purchasing products in 26 countries and three currencies – EUR, GBP and CHF. Additionally, customers can select either German, French, English or Spanish as their preferred language in the shop.

Great shopping experience on all channels

The shops are designed responsive to the used devices, what increased the usability tremendously. The seamless integration of brand and shop sites boosts brand experience and positive customer experience, too.
