Trimtex starts on new shop platform
"Don't follow. Lead." The Trimtex' slogan may soon become a reality in their own company. The sporting goods manufacturer and online pure player now uses the fast, agile and innovative Commerce Cloud solution by Salesforce. Within four months the BE EXCELLENT (part of Dept) team integrated the B2B- & B2C-shop into a system landscape with a single integrated platform. The new online shop went live on February 16th, 2016.
Sports enthusiasts can now purchase Trimtex' quality products online in four countries (Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland) and are able to pay in their respective national currencies.
BE EXCELLENT also developed the entire shop with a responsive design. Customers receive all shop content adapted to their devices – such as desktop, tablet or smartphone – and presented in a clearly arranged and user-friendly environment.
Trimtex offers a special highlight to its B2B customers. The Norwegian sports outfitter empowers them to manage own shops with team clothing on the Trimtex platform. With the help of a guided configurator Trimtex employees are able to install a "new" B2B-shop for a company, a club or a team without big overhead. Afterwards the end customer is able to activate this shop via a code in "My Account".
