BabyOne and Birkenstock apply for Shop Usability Award
The usability of an online shop is determined by intuitive navigation and item search, a clear product presentation, as well as simple order and payment processes. The easier users find their way through the shop, the more they enjoy shopping – and the retailer's conversion and revenues increase as well.
The Shop Usability Award, being one of the most prestigious awards in e-commerce, has been honouring retailers and their e-commerce partners for outstanding user-friendly online shops since 2008.
BabyOne and Birkenstock – both clients of BE EXCELLENT (part of Dept) – applied for the coveted Shop Usability Award 2017, which is presented in 12 different categories. BabyOne competes in the category "Toys, kids & baby" and Birkenstock in "Fashion".
The online shops of BabyOne and Birkenstock have been implemented by BE EXCELLENT on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (formerly Demandware) platform and now have to pass an assessment by e-commerce experts, as well as a vote by a top-class jury.
The organisers expect more than 500 applications this year. Winners will be announced on "K5-Conference" in Berlin on the 22nd June 2017.
